Being a teacher….. I learned….. that I can do my best to teach the students…. But they learn on their own. I can “teach” them things I know (or what the textbook tells me to teach them) but ultimately they LEARN based on how they apply themselves in the material provided.
Every single day…. Every interaction…. people can either choose to learn or choose to just pass on through.
I feel it’s the same with my own children (of course)
Am I entirely crazy for wishing I could pull them from the public school system and help them learn at home? Fuel their fire based on what they actually want to learn about? 🙂
