Do Birthdays Make Us Old?

Do Birthday's Make Us Old?

My 5 year old asked me this question. Simple yet straight to the point. I’m still super busy and nowhere near where I want to be with this blog or anything else really. When I last had an active blog I only had 2 toddlers and 100% free time (even though I thought I was busy THEN!) hahaha

I had no clue, no inclination how intense it would be to have 3 kiddo’s 4 and under. 🙂 I love every single waking and non-waking moment with them.

I was asked again today by a neighbor “why is everything labeled?!” — looking around at the ‘door’ and ‘window’ and ‘chair’ and ‘table’ and ‘floor’ ETC ETC ETC signs all over the place….

I tried to explain that I kind-of home school. I kind-of unschool. I tried to explain as it was sort of a facilitation of my children’s education while they are inside the public school system. I think they could learn more if I had more time to label things all over town. HA! Image….. Me….. with my notecards, markers, and tape putting signs up.

They’d surely lock me away.

So the question:::: DO BIRTHDAY’S MAKE US OLD?

My answer was “Only as old as you think you are”.
